It took me quite an unexpected route to discover very specific memories or echoes from my past-life; I was playing a video game called Red Dead Redemption 2. The entire world of it tries to mimic the majority of North America on a small scale. While I was exploring it, I came across an area that felt oddly familiar to me. Not as a direct match, but it was a type of biome that felt very “home like”. The feeling was strong enough for me to stop and think about what could be causing that feeling.
At that time, I had not yet started my research journey into my previous incarnation. So all I had back then was that strong and steady unusual feeling of home and peace. Even though the video game itself is not centered around piece at all.
Many months later, when I started digging deeper into my memories, I remembered that moment. So I decided to install the game again just to experience that part of the world. I got the same feeling. It felt safe, warm, and familiar. While being perfectly aware that it was being triggered by a video game. In other words: I know these feelings were not coming from the game. There was a separate source being tapped there.
And as I have done before with memories like that, I opened myself up to the memory without judgement, and I just let it all flow. This is what I saw: dense evergreen forests, lush meadows, small creeks with lots of stones, and a large volcano-like snow-top mountain in the distance.
Just to be absolutely clear: I have never seen such an image in this life. Not even in movies or other media. If I did, I would have probably had the same feeling come to me as what came through the video game. After doing some research, I found the most likely location/State matching that vision/memory: parts of Wyoming and/or Montana. Most likely YellowStone National Park.
